The Alliance’s 2017 Annual National Conference will take place on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, January 13-15 at RSC. This conference is an event where teachers, administrators, parents, and board members from Public Waldorf schools, charter schools, independent Waldorf schools and new initiatives from across the nation gather together for practical and renewing work.

OPENING ADDRESS

Alliance President Liz Beaven, Ed.D., will open the Conference on Friday evening presenting the Core Principles of Public Waldorf Education and considering what is it that makes a public school “Public Waldorf?”

14 WORKSHOP OPTIONS include drawing, painting, singing, eurythmy and handwork skill-building and insights on the foundation for forming a high school, addressing literacy in underserved populations, considerations for increasing diversity, inner development for teachers, nurturing the nurturers, and more!  See the Conference brochure for details.

14 BREAKOUT GROUPS for teachers and administrators will include grade level discussions and conversations on mentoring, designing for complexity, fostering social action, bring song and dance into the classroom and an conversation just for administrators, and more!  See Conference brochure for details.

POST-CONFERENCE  The Alliance will hold its Annual General Meeting to which the public is warmly welcome.  Agendas will be posted on the website and available in Conference registration packets.
