Description:

Traditional European Medicine meets Native American Medicine

According to Lakota Tradition, the Four Directions bring purity of mind, body and spirit, and signify the union of all nations. This workshop honors the past and looks to the future by bringing two streams together: Native American, based on Lakota knowledge, and Traditional European Medicine, based on Paracelsus and Rudolf Steiner.

Over three days, we will explore the spirit and wisdom of healing plants and water as the essence of life, and a wellspring of healing through these two systems of traditional medicine. Throughout history water has been used both in spiritual and religious ceremony as well as in healing. Come explore the healing aspects of water body, soul and spirit from both the traditional point of view and how new information is confirming traditional ideas of the importance of water.
